This thesis focuses on developing and analyzing efficient numerical strategies for large-scale 3D topology optimization problems. The aim is to reduce computational cost and memory requirements while maintaining solution accuracy. Strategies may include advanced solvers, preconditioning techniques, domain decomposition, and problem size reduction.

Objectius:

1. Study the mathematical formulation and numerical challenges of 3D topology optimization; 2. Identify computational bottlenecks in existing methods; 3. Implement efficient linear/nonlinear solvers and preconditioners; 4. Explore strategies such as multigrid, domain decomposition, or adaptive refinement; 5. Validate the proposed strategies on benchmark 3D topology optimization problems and analyze performance improvements.
