This work focuses on the development and implementation of a three-dimensional unsteady panel method for the simulation of Wind-Assisted Propulsion Systems (WAPS). Based on constant doublet and source distributions, the method will account for time-dependent effects, such as wake evolution, and enable the analysis of aerodynamic interactions between multiple propulsion elements. This study will cover the mathematical formulation, numerical implementation, and application of the method to representative WAPS configurations.

Objectius:

The main objective of this work is to develop a 3D unsteady panel method based on source and doublet distributions, tailored for the aerodynamic analysis of Wind-Assisted Propulsion Systems (WAPS). The method will enable the simulation of unsteady effects such as wake evolution, providing a tool to better understand and predict the performance of these systems.
