Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering
Introduction
The master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering offers advanced multidisciplinary training that qualifies graduates for professional practice as aeronautical engineers, in accordance with prevailing legislation (Order CIN/312/2009, of 9 February). It is the natural continuation of the bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Technology Engineering, because the skill set and content of the two degrees are linked and coordinated and because they have been designed with these professional competencies in mind.
Aims
This master’s degree corresponds to a regulated profession and confers a specific set of professional competencies. The labour market needs professionals with the competencies needed to fulfil this role in the aeronautical sector, both in the administration and in public and private companies. Graduates of the master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering have traditionally been very well received in national and international companies.
Why this master’s degree?
This master’s degree provides advanced training that aims to complement that of holders of bachelor’s degrees in Aerospace Engineering. This advanced training is highly multidisciplinary in nature and provides the competencies necessary for professional practice.
Graduates of the master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering will have the capacity to design, manufacture, maintain and put into operation aeroplanes, helicopters, satellites and other aerospace engineering works, as well as the capacity to build, control and inspect ground facilities such as airport terminals, runways, signage and all the basic structures necessary for air navigation.

Who is it for?
This master’s degree is designed for graduates of the associated bachelor’s degree—the bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Technology Engineering—and graduates of bachelor’s degrees in the aerospace field who wish to complete their training to practise as aerospace engineers.

Start date: autumn and spring
Duration and study load: 2 years, 120 ECTS credits (60 ECTS credits/academic year)
Timetable and delivery: face-to-face. All compulsory subjects are taught in the autumn and spring semesters, in the morning or afternoon depending on the semester (MS1 and MS3 in the morning in the autumn semester and in the afternoon in the spring semester; MS2 in the afternoon in the autumn semester and in the morning in the spring semester). Specialisation subjects are taught in the autumn semester.
